There are many things that I wish I have said but didn't say to you guys on the last day, perhaps words couldn't come out that easily or I was afraid that I would cry. Anyway, I'm adding some words in your class blog because there are so many pictures and so few words here. Jia Yin, do write more next time k, but I'm adding some of the pics that I've got here although you guys have already uploaded some, sorry, teacher is late :)
First of all, I want to say again that I am very happy to have the 34 of as my students. It was by chance that I came to this school because I applied for Bandar Utama, was sent to Shah Alam, then only did I get USJ 8 after my friends who first got this school gave it to me. I used to pass by this school too sometimes, yet never knowing that I'll be teaching in it one day. Anyway, USJ 8 is a good school with no major disciplinary problem, all the kids are proficient in English and teacher fell in love with the beautiful hanging petunias at the entrance to the office.
As you all know, I am not a real teacher, I am also a student and I have learnt a lot from you kids during my 10 weeks' stay here. There were many things that I didn't do very well and I wish I could have done better in classroom control, teaching literature, giving instructions, etc, etc. Maybe when you leave school someday, you will understand that things that you learnt in school are very different from the real world out there. This is a real classroom and I felt very bad sometimes when the lessons got so boring or you all didn't understand what I am trying to convey as kids come to school to learn but somehow I have failed in making you learn something. Anyhow, it was a great experience teaching you guys and I have not found a better way of getting acquainted with so many 16-year-olds. Teacher is already missing you all here, and Feon, Faiz, Azureen, Daniel, Fadhli, Farah Liyana, those who were absent last Friday, see you all next time k, all the best. p/s : Faiz, please don't be so mischievous... And Feon, don't ponteng on Friday anymore k, wait till you get surat amaran, argh.
Here's a look at the snapshots of all those who are cerdik-cerdik belaka...
Next, it's Kugi whom I remembered because he's the mischievous one who liked to call me Pn Kang. See, I even have to force him to take pictures with me.
Next it's the two Terrances because they have the same name and I had to work harder at remembering their names.
This is Farah Dalila, hope I get it right this time, took a long time in telling her apart from Farah Liyana.
There at the last row, Huey Yi please, better posture. Gal, this is bad for your eyes and back.
Let's get back to the boys k. Ah, Chee Peng the photographer here. He is a very sweet boy and I once mistaken his twin for him, only got him back more often in class after all the ceremonies and marching activities.
This is our talkative star here Wei Hao, he didn't know that Ms Kang once shared his enthusiasm of completing all Add Maths homework in class, but I had my share of confiscating his homework and newspapers in class, hehe.
And he sure likes to be in pictures...
with sweet Fiona this time, she will be a good pre-school teacher someday.
Meet Jlo a.k.a Low Jie Sheng, our very own rockstar guitarist for the band Suicide in Red Dress. Sometimes he looks very blur in class but teacher's friend said that he's hansem, hmm, what do you think?
This is our sleeping beauty, Yew Wei, he practically slept throughout 85% of my class, although Terence T can also pretend to sleep very beautifully with his head senget.
This is Win Keong, guys, why is he always so moody?
Meet An Chi and Fiona, the two girls who are very studious at the back. Quips, teacher must learn to look at the camera.
See, a picture tells a thousand words...
This is Macho Mahen, the adjective that he gave me on the first day. Think he is very quiet and he does look sweet with his doe-like eyes.
Gladwin Jiann Singh, took notice of him during Hari Ko-K because he holds many important posts. He is also very tall, very obedient and very studious, may his good influence rub off on our dear Faiz. Thinks he looks a bit shy sometimes though, :p
Meet Omar, he is also a very nice boy, the most well-behaved among the silat gang.
Kesiannya Omar being assaulted by Kugi, perhaps Kugi was inspired by Kathy Perry's song I Kissed a Girl.
Then this is Kah Sern, who sits in the front . He's quite good and thanks for answering teacher's questions in class!
Jia Ming, Jia Ming, always so hyperactive. See, it' Wei Hao in the pic again.
Ho Jeung Han, poor boy was inflicted with denggi not too long ago. He's very quiet and shy maybe. Don't know much about him except that everyone wanted him to sit with Mei Kuan during the photo session.
This is Sanjjiev, he's also one of the sleeping beauties, sleeps around 65% of the class. Sorry ya if teacher had neglected you in class.
The boys' time-out...
So that's about it then guys, pretty much everyone made it to the hall of fame this time except for Cherish maybe, she wasn't in a good mood that day, teacher heard, but she's a very good student who did all the homework. Miss you all, love ya, muaks. Thanks for the gifts and the song that day, take care k, cheerio :)
